Now we have all done some embarrassing things in our lives, right? Well, I washed my wallet about a month ago, and had to call about nine customers and explain what I had done. Not only was it embarrassing, it was very time consuming also. Thank god my customers have a good sense of humor. Many that I spoke with had done the same thing in the past, and were very understanding. Now it is one month later and I have been extremely busy winterizing lawn sprinkler systems in Atlanta, and I have a pocket full of checks. You guessed it! I washed my wallet again. Now this time out of the many customers I had to call, and go to their homes and get another check, was an old friend named Mike. When I told Mike what had happened, he told me that he had done this twice himself. So now I don’t feel so bad right? Well I didn’t for about a day. My friend Mike calls me the next day and tell me that I must have jinxed him. You guessed it again! Mike had washed his wallet too! Now I do feel bad that he washed his wallet also, and I hope I didn’t jinx him. Sometimes I do think that the power of suggestion is very strong, but I’m not sure it happened in this case. Just had to share this story with everyone. I would like to wish all Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
